Croeso! This website contains various projects and pieces of work undertaken on the local history of the Port Talbot area.

There are currently two main projects on the site:

3D Buildings of Old Port Talbot and Aberavon

This is a long term project where I’ve been reconstructing long demolished buildings using CAD software. This is mainly focussed on ‘Old Aberavon’ which was cleared in the 1970s for the Aberavon Shopping Centre, but also contains some other lost buildings from the wider Port Talbot area.

Buildings of Local Importance – Photographic Record

In this project I am documenting the locally listed ‘Buildings of Local Importance’ a set of buildings often overlooked and taken for granted, they are not afforded protection from CADW, but are designated by Neath Port Talbot Council as locally important.
